The Timex FLIX technology activates the INDIGLO night-light on the watch without the need to press a button. A simple forward flick of your wrist with a sharp stop will illuminate the night-light for a full 5 seconds. To use FLIX, you must first activate Night-Mode by pressing and holding the INDIGLO night-light button for three seconds until it beeps. Once Night-Mode is active you may proceed to use the FLIX system as you desire. You will need to give the watch a firm shake to activate FLIX technology. This is necessary to ensure that the INDIGLO night-light won’t go off at the slightest vibration or change in direction.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.
